I'm just a little ol' country girl from Michigan.
I have 2 sons (Robert and Dustin), 2 daughters (Renee and Jennifer), a mom (GMa), a brother (Paul) and a wonderful boyfriend (Jim) who drags me all over the country.
We live in Las Vegas, but we're staying in Louisville, Kentucky these days. Jim's on a another mission.
So watch your mouth. Be nice. Remember, "You can't eat your cake and lay in it too".
And unlike little bo peep, don't eat all your sheep. haha. AND....enter something in my blog!
Visit my site http://www.lvdarlings.com some time. Thats where I bought this outfit.

 Jim  Goodbye Seattle
What is great about Seattle
- The view from this apartment is incredible.
- Relatives living nearby is awesome.
- Working here has been easy.
- The country side is beautiful.
- Washington is by far the most beautiful state I have ever seen.
What isn't great about Seattle
- Driving here is a mess. I've seen 9 way stops with no lights. People park in the travel lanes.
- Parking is next to impossible, and it is very expensive ($280 a month to park at work).
- The cost of living here is easily twice that of Louisville ($1,200 for a one bedroom).
- Insane and homeless people are everywhere. Most people ignore them. I think its something in the water.
- People yell and fight in the streets.
- People are allowed to sleep on the sidewalks.
- We never found any fun places to go. We saw no bands. We saw no dance floors.
- The buses are overcrowded and are never on time.
- My Identity was stolen here.
- My truck was been burglarized.
- I had to pay for parking at both at my apartment and work.
- I see police stopping drivers every day, while homeless people get away with blocking store exits asking for money.
- I found that most of the people here are either self absorbed or morally bankrupt.
- I had to booby trap my cubical, someone went through my cubical drawers and my personal notes.
- Someone else went through my PC, saw my diary, and told everybody what they found.
- Someone I never talked too, was spreading terrible lies about me through email.
- I'd see people go into my cube when they thought left for a bathroom break.
Seattle is, by far, the scariest place I've ever lived. It really creeps me out.
I don't think I'll be coming back here.
The cities outside of Seattle look great though.
I think I'd love to live in Bellevue, Olympia or Redmond, Wa. They had a normal feel to them.

 jim  The Skylark Cafe
The Skylark Cafe is supposed to be a sought out dance bar / supper club...
It was okay, but I kind of expected more. It was small, but I'd think it could be a lot of fun after 9pm. We left there at 8pm. Their Monte Cristo is the best I've had since the 70's (at the old Mgm).  The turkey, ham and swiss sandwich was fried in egg batter, and was done very nicely. Becky had a Reuben which was made with marbled rye. The food was textbook perfect.
We stopped by the Show Box.
Young girls were standing in the parking lot, dressed up to the hilt. I thought My truck just went "WHOA, what's this?". We swing in, and check it out. The owners had converted an old brick walled warehouse into a show room / bar. It was big inside, but I thought it lacked the charm of a renovated warehouse. I thought it tried to look too modern, with its black and gold theme. They were having a fashion show inside at a the cost of $25 a ticket. There was a runway for the models, with those metal fold up chairs you see at high schools lining up along the side of it. Somehow, I just wasn't impressed.

 jim  Easter at Julias
We drove around, pushing through the cold Seattle Easter afternoon, trying to find a place to share a feew warm smiles. Finally, we came to an interesting place in Queen Anns.
We ended up at Julia's.

The atmosphere was great, the service was friendly, the food was wonderful and price was under $25.
The restaurant was a house at one time. The waiter and host we very friendly. On a laugh, the waiter told us he was Cher, and the Bunny was Madonna at Le Faux. And the host dug up a brochure.
We finally found a cool restaurant !!!
Below is a picture of the wine cellar.

Jim  Theres times in my life...
There are times when, no matter how lost and alone I feel, no matter how blue, there's something that comes along that puts it all together. I see something that's common, and once again its beautiful, like it was the first time I'd ever seen it.
I experience a warm glow. I feel like a kid again when everything was new. Its like the first time I saw a kitten, a weeping willow near a pond, or a pasture of  frosted grass glowing under the moonlight. It feels good.
I get these feelings when I see Becky smile.
I love her so much.
